Culture Team Report

The following document serves as a summary of the Culture Team’s discussions and conclusions regarding changing the name of our organization. While we are unable to provide notes from every meeting, online discussion, and one-on-one conversation, the information provided below is a comprehensive explanation as to why we are changing our name and what the important factors in this conversation are.

We have compiled this information in a list of questions and answers to help make it easier to understand all of the aspects involved in this discussion. Many of these questions we as a team have asked ourselves throughout the last few months, and while some questions still don’t have answers, the ideas presented here will paint a very clear picture for you of the conclusions we have reached and the direction we hope our community is heading in.

Over the past several months, the Culture Team has worked hard to examine the idea of changing our name thoroughly – looking at issues of identity related to the group and doing its best to leave no stone unturned in this process.
