2010 Restructuring

2010 KLF Restructuring Results

Dear Knights and Ladies of the Flame,

As many of you know, the KLF Restructuring Committee has been meeting regularly since last summer, in order to explore the successes and challenges we’ve experienced as an organization, and identify possibilities to improve and strengthen all facets of our community as we move into the future.

As elections come to a close this month and the Committee is wrapping up its work, we wanted to present to you our findings and accomplishments! Below you will find the highlights of the result of our work, as well as links to our new website with further information about each of these topics.

On behalf of the entire Committee, we want to thank you for your support and prayers during this restructuring process! At the end of the elections, the KLF Restructuring Process will be over and we will begin to move forward with our new leadership structure and initiatives. With the help of Mother and the Masters, we look forward to seeing how these changes will help all of us transform KLF into the spiritual community we’re all looking for!

Gratefully,
The KLF Restructuring Committee

A New Paradigm for KLF

The KLF Restructuring Committee was formed in order to identify the core issues in our group that were preventing people from getting more involved and staying involved. Among other things, we realized that a shared vision of KLF purpose and direction was lacking, that the organizational structure did not encourage the active engagement and participation of community members outside the retreat, and that within leadership, the lack of clear delineation of roles and responsibilities hindered movement and progress. Culture: KLF Mission and Vision

To help direct some of our present and future work, we developed a new mission and vision for KLF – one that speaks more to our entire community as well as individuals beyond our community that may seek to join us in the future. We also stated our core belief, which became a cornerstone for creating our mission and vision.

  • CORE BELIEF: Our core belief is that every individual has the potential to become God.
  • MISSION: Our mission is to provide a community that helps youth realize and fulfill their potential to become God.
VISION: We envision a global community built on friendship, where youth from all walks of life are both progressing towards and achieving their Christhood. Day by day, they apply the teachings of the Ascended Masters to their personal lives, actively transforming their communities and the world into a Golden Age.

These statements are the result of many hours of discussion and careful thought regarding the direction that we feel KLF is heading in the coming years. To learn more about what went into these statements, read more…

KLF Web Presence

Thanks to the hard work of our KLF Web Team, we are pleased to announce the launch of our new KLF website: www.tsl.org/klf. This site will significantly expand our ability to get quick, up-to-date access to KLF related events and information and stay in touch with each other! While it is still a work in progress, we have many visions for its future. To learn more and see how you can help, read more…

Leadership and New Organizational Structure

Over the past year, we took a detailed look at the leadership and overall structure of the KLF, asking ourselves how to create more engagement across the community, be more organized, communicate better with our members, and adapt to the creative growth and expansion of our community? We learned some very important lessons from this work and ultimately came up with a new structure that we strongly believe will help support each member more fully as our community continues to grow.  Read more…
